We recently had the good fortune to spend some time under the beautifully dark skies of the Flint Hills of southwest Kansas. This long exposure with a 50mm prime lens gives a small sense of the experience of looking out at the stars and seeing the Milky Way.
Discovered this on an impromptu hike today. I’m guessing it is part of EAST going on currently.

We are looking forward to tonight’s moonrise. This is from yesterday at an undisclosed location.
You start with a bunch of boomboxes all tuned to the same frequency. The 2 glowing LED batons define the perimeter of the party. This is the antenna that broadcasts the music to the boomboxes. The boomboxes act as a mobile sound system as the party moves through public spaces. Spread the Fun!
